Organic Conductive Materials
Development of High-Performance Semiconductive Materials
We are presently developing high-performance materials by adjusting the ionization potential, bandgap energy and other properties using a new D-A type design based on polythiophenes (PT) created by using Soken's unique fabrication techniques for finer control of regioregularity and higher molecular weight polymerization. The new D-A type takes advantage of our material designing and coupling techniques for introducing electron-withdrawing substituents and annelated structures. We are also focusing on the development of new formulations of ink that realize stable performance of semiconductors printed by various methods.
